Troia is one of the best courses many golfers will ever play and is a 'must' on your itinerary whilst you are in Lisbon. Reached by ferry from Setubal, Troia sits on the beautiful Troia Peninsula and is a fascinating course to play.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr, his trademark, naturally shaped defensive bunkers blend well into the surroundings. Narrow fairways, dog-legs and small greens call for accuracy and are a great test of a golfer's skill. The front nine features a number of sea holes with the par 4 3rd being the finest and Trent Jones' personal favourite.

A truly great and exciting course and one not to be missed!
