Vale do Lobo Royal

From an original design by Sir Henry Cotton, Rocky Roquemore has developed the course further into a challenging course made up from some of the original Vale do Lobo course and some new holes.

The par 3 9^th plays to an almost island green and careful selection of the right club is vital. The par 5 11^th is a great test. Start with a good drive because you will need a good second shot to land accurately between a steep bank and a lake for a comfortable approach to the green. The famous original par 3 7^th is now the 16^th. This beautiful hole plays across a red sandstone slash in the cliff and there is nothing you can do if you lose your ball! The views from this hole and along the coastline to the west are spectacular.

Watch out for the 18th with its narrow fairway, lined with pines and a tricky green. You will need to be confident with your shot to the green and make sure it lands firmly.
