Amongst the best of the French courses, St Omer is located not far from Calais. A frequent host to the French PGA, this well maintained parkland course is laid out over rolling ground and woodland and provides a good challenge for golfers of all handicaps.
The par 4 3rd is perhaps the most difficult hole on the course with the hole visible from the tee tempting you to take a drive to the left. But watch out for the rough here and nothing less than a perfect iron shot will have the ball rolling out of sight. The par 4 13th is another tricky hole with a dogleg left and a downhill second shot to a very steep green. The par 3 17th sees you nearly home, but you'll need a confident shot with the iron over the bunker on the left to land on the green.
