Santa Maria Golf & Country club has the reputation of being one of the best kept courses on the Costa del Sol. Located between Fuengirola and Marbella and running through two valleys offering great views of the Mediterranean, Santa Maria has always been one of the most popular courses with golfers.

With many elevated tees, undulating fairways and well positioned bunkers Santa Maria offers an interesting layout. The front nine is fairly open and a good introduction for the course. The par 3 7^th is a very pretty hole with water to the right of the downhill fairway and the split level green is guarded well by three bunkers. The back nine is a tougher proposition. The par 4 14^th is another beautiful hole with a high up tee, water coming into play on the fairway and a waterfall to the right of the green. A short course offering a very good test of golf.
