Quinta do Lago North

Designed by three architects, Quinta do Lago North has a quality and character not to be missed. The terrain has the Algarve's sandy soil and in the spring the rough is covered with heather, gorse and wild flowers making it difficult to find your ball if it falls here! The pine trees dotted around the course lend shade whilst the superb bunkers on the fairway and protecting the fast greens demand some accuracy of shot.

An anti-clockwise course, this loop favours golfers who can draw the ball. with the exception of holes 10 and 13. The par 4's are all dog-legs requiring precision to reach the green. The par 5 holes are a huge challenge requiring great accuracy and favour the long hitter and water comes into play on 13 and 18. The scenery around the course is delightful but wind is often a challenge, especially on the par 3's, so select your club with care!
