Close to Tavira and set amidst beautiful countryside this Rocky Roquemore designed course is characterised with thousands of trees creating natural hazards. The wealth of bunkers further enhance the course which is typified by gently undulating, generous greens.
A 475m par 5 sets the tone of the course taking the player down a gentle slope to the undulating green. The par 3 5th gives you a choice of teeing-off position but both require a carry over water. The par 7 4th has a stroke index of 2 and the problems become obvious as you look down the fairway from the elevated tee. A lake intrudes onto the fairway initially and the green, well protected by a bunker, provides only a narrow landing area.
The back nine then takes you close to the beach. The par 4 14th is a dog-leg to the right as the fairway curls around a lake with water to the left on the drive. Water comes into play again as you take your approach shot to the green.
