A gently undulating course with greens well protected by many large and conspicuous bunkers and the sister course to the Quinta da Ria. The main feature is the stream that meanders through the course presenting a hazard from several of the tees.
With challenging holes from the start, this championship course will have you thinking hard before you make your club selection. The par 4 3rd is a dog-leg left with strategically placed bunkers ready to catch the unwary and a tricky green. The par 4 4th is the first to encounter the stream as it runs across the fairway in front of the green and the stream again features in the 5th and the par 5 6th.
Wind is also a factor on this course and the par 4 13th is particularly influenced by wind and water. The 15th is a par 4 with bunkers guarding the fairway on both sides and standing guard around the green. The 16th and the 18th are becoming the most memorable holes with the stream and the lake influencing play on both.
