Located on the slope of a hill overlooking the mediterranean is this pretty course naturally framed by pine and oak trees. You have to be a big hitter to tackle hole 11, a par 3 of 201 metres and the two water hazards and rushing stream need caution. but you can always treat yourself to a meal at the end of your game at the famous S'era de Pula restaurant.
On the north-east of the island in a town called levante near Cala Millor, Pula golf is a fairly young course that has already earned much recognition. Originally built in 1995, the par 70 layout has since been re-designed with by professional player Jose Maria Olazabal who changed 12 of the original holes in 2004 & 2005.
There are various different tee positions that allow you to choose a level of difficulty most suitable to you. The 172-yard par-3 2nd is played over a canyon to a green that is raised and humped in the middle. Tough to two-putt and achieve par.
The redesigned 17th was the centrepiece of the mallorca classic in 2005. A long par 4 played downhill with a huge lake on your left and a green well protected by bunkers provides the setting for some dramatic moments!
