Premier Iberian Invitational Golf Day

Premier Iberian held their inaugural golf tournament this weekend. The event took place at Northampton’s Collingtree Park Golf Club on Friday 21st September and was attended by nearly 100 golfers from around the country.

Although a blustery and cloudy day, the rain held off, and the wind provided an additional challenge for the keen golfers. The winners of the Stableford pairs competition were Bob and Nicky Jackson from Millbrook Golf Club in Bedfordshire. Nicky also won the individual ladies Stableford with a great score of 39! Jo Morgan, from Birmingham, won the individual men’s Stableford whilst Ian Mann from Cheshire got the prize for ‘nearest the pin’. Peter Tunnell from Cambridgeshire achieved the longest drive.

The day was followed by a prize-giving dinner at the Hilton Northampton with some very exciting holidays donated as prizes by the sponsors of the day Aphrodite Hills Resort in Cyprus; La Cala Golf and Spa Resort on the Costa del Sol; Le Meridien Penina Golf Resort on the Algarve; the Tunisian Tourist Board and Tunis Air.

This was a very successful event and enjoyed by all. It was good to meet so many of our customers and put faces to the voices we hear over the phone. Let’s hope we can make this an annual event!
