Spectacular views of the town and bay greet you at palheiro golf which is situated 10km east of funchal. Created by the well renowned course designer, Cabell Robinson, Palheiro golf opened in 1993. The parkland course is perfectly integrated into the Quinta do Palheiro estate. The presence of the fast greens, bermuda fairways and abundance of mature trees, all add to the appeal of this course, which is suitable for all levels if golfer.

 

The open-plan layout of the clubhouse gives a welcoming and spacious feel and it is from here that you'll experience some of the most breathtaking views of the island.  The views of mountains and ocean are best enjoyed whilst relaxing with friends after your game, drink in hand!
