Melonaras golf was inaugurated in June 2006 and is located in Meloneras Bay in the south of the island. The course is characterised by 9 holes with mountain views and 9 holes with sea views, 3 of which are on the coast itself.
The designer is the American architect Ron Kirby. He has adapted the course to blend in with the natural beauty of the landscape. Each hole has 4 tees and the course is designed for players of all levels, with each hole progressing in difficulty. The course covers around 520,000 square meters and meanders through palm trees and lakes.
