Los Arqueros

Situated on the Ronda road and the first course in the region to be designed by Seve Ballesteros, Los Arqueros is a well kept, fairly hilly course with great views and offers a challenge to club golfers of all abilities.

The course has been designed to follow the natural lie of the land and to blend in with the natural surroundings. A challenging course for low handicappers yet a good test for those golfers with a higher handicap.

Some tee shots can be rather tight and you need to carefully consider which club to use in order to reach the fairway. Accuracy and precision are paramount on many of the holes and the par 5 8th is no exception. A dog-leg right with a slope down towards the green, there is an out of bounds area and a stream just in front of the green. Take care at the 13th too with the fairway guarded by bunkers needing a bold, yet accurate shot from the high tee.

The par 4 3rd is possibly one of the most beautiful holes requiring careful thought with bunkers to the right of the fairway and a lake to the left. the par 6th is the longest hole here which requires a bold tee shot on to the long, narrow fairway to make the possibility of par.

Well worth a visit!
