UNA Poggio dei Medici

There are very few golf resorts in Italy and the UNA Poggio dei Medici Resort is well placed to experience the pleasure of golf on the doorstep whilst also to experiencing the delights of Tuscany and especially Florence, just forty minutes away by car.

The resort was a farm originally on the famous Medici Estate and the old farm buildings have been developed into modern and comfortable accommodation found in six different blocks. All blocks have views over the course and the beautiful Tuscan countryside and the rooms have balconies or private gardens as well as direct access to the golf course. A golfer's dream!

The resort restaurant offers local cuisine and prides itself on its service and quality. Tuscan cuisine is simple and ingredients are sourced locally. More elaborate dishes are also prepared to give a wide choice for guests and the fine and extensive wine list compliments the food well.

The spa and the outdoor pool are delightful places to take a rest when not on the course and you will find that you are just ready for that cooling gin and tonic in the hotel bar beofre dinner.
