The Vila Sol Spa and Golf Resort is proving to be one of the best and most popular golf resort developments in Portugal, with the excellent 27 hole Vila Sol Golf course at its centre.

A low-rise hotel main building is at the centre of this new development and houses the social areas and some of the accommodation. The rest of the rooms are laid out as garden rooms or suites, spread in clusters and linked by walk ways which meander around the lakes and gardens. This has to be a golfer's dream!

The hotel bar offers fine golf views and there is an Morrocan style pub located at the Club House if you fancy a change of scene. The Cafe restaurant boasts a wonderful panoramic terrace overlooking the gardens and the golf course or you can sample the Mediterranean cuisine on offer in the L'Olive Fine-Dining Restaurant at the club house.

The hotel has its own beach club with a watersports centre and Beach Club Restaurant, if you want a change from the heated outdoor pool set in the hotel's gardens, and the Vila Sol Spa is the place to go to massage away any aches and pains. Vilamoura Marina is only 5 minutes away by car for an evening out or why not try one of the many traditional Portuguese restaurants in the area.
