The Hotel Tivoli Lagos, the home of golf in the Western Algarve, has a lot to offer golfers who like to stay somewhere more traditional. The hotel has a great location in the town itself and close to the marina which means you are spoilt for choice with evening entertainment. Lagos itself is within easy driving distance of some great courses, including Boavista, Morgado and Alamos.
This traditional hotel has been developed from a series of nine linked small buildings wandering around gardens, a central pool and beautifully decorated walkways, with views over the town and towards the river and has comfortable, well furnished rooms.
There are plenty of sporting opportunities in the area for golfers and non golfers alike, including water sports at the Beach club in the summer which you can get to easily by means of the hotel's own courtesy bus and the coast is well worth exploring.
We think this has got to be one of the most interesting locations in the Algarve. Try it. We don't think you will be disappointed.
