The 4* Dom Pedro Baia Club is in a great position overlooking Machico Bay. It is just a few steps away from the picturesque and historical fishing village of Machico itself with its attractive tree-shaded centre and small winding streets and is the only hotel in the village.

The hotel offers the standard of service we are used to from Dom Pedro and is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and have been recently refurbished but if you want a balcony you will be limited to the club rooms on the first three floors, although most rooms do benefit from a side sea view.

Machico Village offers plenty of restaurants for eating out ranging from beach huts to gourmet. It boasts a small marina and promenade and has a peaceful and non-commercial atmosphere.

Machico is a great spot from which to explore the island and the Santo da Serra Golf course is only a few minutes away by car.
