The superb course of Arcos Gardens, close to Arcos de la Frontera, is already making its mark among golfers not least because of its wonderful setting and far-reaching views. And now you can stay where you play in this wonderful converted 17thC farmhouse.

Each spacious room in the farmhouse building is individually and luxuriously designed and decorated for a comfortable stay. The restaurant Cortijo Fain, with it vaulted ceiling, is located in the farmhouse and specialises in traditional local cuisine with a twist. Most of the vegetables and herbs come from their own kitchen garden so you can be sure that it is absolutely fresh. If you enjoy eating outside, the terrace provides a perfect setting overlooking a beautiful olive grove. And for something a bit lighter, try the Tapas Bar.

For sporting facilities the 18 hole golf course takes pride of place, but there is plenty more to do here if you are feeling energetic (just contact the Lifestyle Department while you are there) whilst the Health Spa, due to open late in 2009, is worth a visit and the outdoor pool is always a good place to catch a bit of sun.
