Costa Ballena is a purpose built holiday resort on the Atlantic coast and the 4 star Elba Costa Ballena is a new and modern hotel, designed in traditional Mediterranean style, enjoying a perfect location overlooking the glorious ‘La Calita' beach and the Olazabel designed 27 hole golf course.
All the rooms in the hotel have been stylishly decorated and furnished using soft blues and greens and offer views over the sea or the golf course. There are a number of bars and restaurants available in the resort for those who enjoy eating out in the evening and the hotel itself has a good choice if you prefer to eat in. For a taste of real Andalucia, take the car and travel along the coast towards San Lucar or El Puerto de Santa Maria with its great fish restaurants or back towards the lively traditional town of Rota for a good evening out.
The hotel gardens house the glorious pool area with its heated outdoor pool and also lead down to the beach. The hotel also boasts its own Thalasso Spa which includes a fresh sea-water Thermal Circuit with a sauna, roman bath, igloo, hammam, Jacuzzi and whirlpool and a variety of spa and beauty treatments are also available.
The golf course offers excellent tuition and practice facilities including a 9 hole par 3 course with generous greens and where each hole demands play with a different iron. A great resort for golfers!
