The extensive rear grounds of the hotel with its large swimming pool and garden lead directly onto the beach and the front of the hotel looks out over the 27 hole golf course which is now fully opened and ready for play comprising of the restored original 18 holes and 9 extra holes. The facilities in the hotel are good and the jacuzzi and the sauna might prove just the place for a weary golfer at the end of the day!
The purpose built resort of Almerimar offers an oasis of green between the sea and the mountains in this quiet south eastern corner of Spain. The large marina with its good choice of bars, restaurants and shops offers plenty of opportunities for water sports in season whilst tennis, horse riding and of course golf complete the sporting facilities the resort has to offer.
