This superb golf resort, just an hour from Lisbon, is one of the best in Portugal with its fabulous coastal location, a first-class 5 star Marriott hotel and highly rated links golf course.

The 179 comfortable and luxuriously decorated rooms benefit from magnificent views of the golf course or the sea and are well equipped as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. There are several dining options within the hotel ranging from the gourmet ‘Romy' restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine to ‘The Terrace' where you can eat al fresco overlooking the ocean during the warmer months. The ‘Atlantico Grill' serves an a la carte and buffet menu and the hotel prides itself on it use of fresh local produce. For evening entertainment the 'Ocean Lounge' offers cocktails and DVD concerts with an ocean view.

The 18 hole links course is rated amongst the best in Europe and golfers will enjoy the challenge of the on shore breezes, the sand dunes and undulating greens. When not playing golf you must visit Obidos, a fantastic medieval walled village just 20 minutes from the hotel. The island nature reserve of Belengas and the Obidas lagoon are well worth a visit and Lisbon is a must for a day out.
