Perhaps the closest you will get to playing a "links" style course in Andalucia the layout of the holes at Alcadeisa runs alongside the beach giving you the feeling you are playing on a Scottish links, although with any luck the climate should be somewhat different!

Alferini Golf Club, formerly named Gran Flamingo, is a fantastic new 18 hole par 73 golf course.

Just North of Mijas, close to Alhaurin El Grande, the Alhaurin Golf Course fits neatly into the natural terrain. There are 45 holes in total, but the full 18 hole course is the true test of golf.

Set in the upper part of the Sotogrande estate, this tricky course is very hilly and is surrounded by oak trees, wild pines and several stream as well as a natural lake.
