Dona Julia

 Located within the traditional Spanish town of Casares, central between Marbella and Sotogrande, Doña Julia Golf is an 18 hole, par 72 course.  The front nine of long and challenging holes meanders between trees, lakes and rivers whilst the back nine are closer to the sea and more manageable with a gentle incline.

 

This fairly new course offers splendid views of the Mediterranean, particulary from the back nine.  Another defining feature of Dona Julia Golf are the especially large greens with an average area of 700 m2 and some are as big as 1000 m2.  The par 3 18th even has a two-level green making this hole a particular challenge and a great way to finish!

 

Higly enjoyable to play do not be deterred by the youth of this course, it is a challenge for all levels of golfer and we're sure it will get better and better as the years go by.  Easy to find at 146 km of the A-7, Dona Julia is a welcome addidition to the area between Estepona and Duquesa.

	Almenara Hotel (17km) A superb hotel on the Sotogrande Estate, home to four of the most highly rated  courses in Spain, including Valderrama, Sotogrande, La Reserva, Almenara.
	AGH Estepona (20km) A very good quality hotel close to the Los Famingos & El Paraiso courses. It is an ideal base for golfers who want to play the courses of the Western Costa del Sol and offers terrific value.
