El Paraiso takes advantage of the the slope that runs down to the sea and the varied abundance of trees and vegetation along with the serene lakes give a real feel of peace at this popular course. Opened in 1974, the course is now owned by club members offering some assurance that it is well maintained.

The fairways are fairly wide but water hazards do play an important role on this course so you will still need to be accurate. The streams that meander their way throughout the course make for picturesque surroundings as well as traps waiting to catch any waward golf shots.

The 6th hole is generally regarded as the best on the course, a par 5 dogleg left where your drive must steer clear of two well positioned bunkers to the left and the right and your second shot needs to be aimed left in order to clear the lake. Finally, a two tiered green requires an accurate approach shot - good luck!

The clubhouse is fairly old fashioned but popular none the less, as we find a drink after a round of golf is pretty much essential whether you have played well or not so well!
