With a climate similar to that of Southern Spain, Turkey provides another great location for golfing holidays during the Autumn, Winter and Spring seasons when the weather on the Mediterranean is at its best for golf. Coupled with hospitable people, glorious sandy beaches, wonderful coastlines, dramatic mountains and ancient historical interest, Turkey is just right for golfers.

The area of Belek, just a few miles from Antalya on the Mediterranean, has been developed into a purpose built golf and holiday resort. It borders the sea with the Toros mountain range forming a bold backdrop. This flat coastal plain is ideal for golf courses and more are being added all the time.

Most of the hotels in Belek boast 5 stars and are set within their own private grounds bordering the beaches. They provide a wonderful holiday base mostly providing half or inclusive board as well as plenty of entertainment. Most of the hotels we have selected have some links with the golf courses which are either very close to the hotel or just a short transfer away.

It is worth making the most of your time when in Turkey and visiting some of the sites on any golf free days. Antalya is a delightful city to explore, especially the Old Quarter with its picturesque harbour partially enclosed by the ancient walls of the city. Closer to your hotel are the small villages of Kadriye and Belek which are worth visiting for their shops, cafes and restaurants. Travel further afield and you can enjoy the Toros Mountains and the National Park as well the ancient ruins at Aspendos and Perge.

For superb courses and luxury hotels, you will find Belek extremely good value for money and equally as good as many of the Spanish and Portuguese resorts and it is already becoming very popular amongst golfers.
