Close to the beaches of San Juan, this Seve Ballesteros designed urban course meanders through the residential estate with tunnels taking you under the roads. It is very well kept and varied with mature trees, 5 lakes and wide fairways, with every hole calling for a different strategy. Well suited to players of all abilities.
This attractive and varied course requires golfers to use their full range of clubs adopting different strategies for each hole. A fairly flat course, Alicante has an equal number of par 3s, 4s and 5s on each leg and the good-sized greens are well protected by strategically placed bunkers.
The fairways are generous and water comes into play on many of the holes offering a challenge for all golfers. Interestingly, there are some roman ruins from the 1st century located on the course, including a roman villa.
