The 4 star superior Alexander the Great Hotel is one of the best in the area and is great for golfers with three courses all within a twenty minute drive. The hotel is set right on the beach, close to the fishing harbour of paphos itself and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to wander out to in the evening.

The recently refurbished hotel has large, spacious public areas and the bedrooms are well furnished and equipped with views across the Mediterranean or the mountains. There is a good choice of restaurants serving local and international cuisine if you prefer to eat in and you will enjoy the evening entertainment. Golfers are well catered for here with a free farewell dinner included in the price of your stay and a golfer's ‘survival kit' of mineral water, fruit and juice to take with you to the course.

There is plenty to do in the area on your golf free days including visits to some of the many ancient sites and a trip up to the troodos mountains which is well worth the effort. The beach and the harbour at Kato Paphos are delightful for a walk out before dinner and the pool area at the hotel is a great place to relax.
