This small, elegant, peaceful and very relaxing golf hotel is ideal for those of you who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream holiday life on the coast yet within a few minutes of the nearby village with its selection of traditional bars and restaurants. We like it because it gives you the opportunity to play golf where you stay and to sample a more traditional Spanish hotel.

Set in the magnificent scenery of the Sierra de Mijas, 15km inland from the coast and just a few minutes from Alhaurin el Grande, the hotel Alhaurin Golf has an excellent restaurant, terrace, gardens, swimming pool and wine cellar and, in pure Andalucian style, ensures a wonderful stay for all its visitors.

The hotel is well known for its challenging 18 hole golf course. There is also an academy course where tuition can be arranged, for both experienced and novice golfers. The elegant club house is well worth a visit for lunch whilst admiring the course and the views.
